Country Quilters guild offers a variety of programs and workshops to inspire members. Workshop dates are the Saturday following the Monthly meeting.


2016 PROGRAMS

 
 

Feb - Sew Mod will present "Handmade Littles": small ways to create fun things with fabric, a variety of small projects.  Sew Mod will also be vending at the meeting.

March 3rd - "Featherweight Sewing Machines" (who doesn't love Featherweights!?) Nona Piorkowski will give us a program on the history, use, and maintenance of these popular portable machines. She'll bring some from her own collection for us to drool over.

April 7th - "Upcycling with Deborah Devine"   Visit her blog, Sew Much To Give.

May 5th - "Accuquilt with Isis Wanderer"  See how easy it is to create quilts using this die cutting tool.

June 2nd - "Treasures From The Trunk"  Quilt Dating and Preservation by Quilt Historian Holly Scott.  Bring your old family quilts to learn more about them - no charge!  Public is invited! No charge for guests this month!

July 7 - Sharon Tursky from the Barrington Sewing Center will present a trunk show. $5 charge for guests.

August 4 - Annual Guild Anniversary Party

September 1 - Patriotic Quilts by Linda Peters and Barb Peterson

October 6 - Upcycling with Debra Devine

November 3 - Layer Cakes


December 1  - Christmas Party!
